THE ROAD TO REIMAGINING ENGAGEMENT

The seeds of Stride were sown over 15 years ago when we started organising social events for the student market in Dublin, Ireland. Over the course of the following 4 years, the business activities grew nationwide. However we also got older, so as much as we wanted to continue living our best student lives, that was no longer possible. 

Over the following years, we transitioned into event & conference management for corporate clients from all over the world. We were fortunate that our timing aligned with the emergence of Ireland as a hub for global technology businesses as well as many other small and medium enterprises in a whole variety of industry sectors. Since then we had continued to work with our existing and new clients in creating and producing many of their client and employee-facing events and conferences, in Ireland and around the world… and then Covid came along.

Rather than bury our heads in the sand, we started where we always had, asking ourselves what problem could we solve for our clients? We reached out to our client network to understand their problems, and the overwhelming feedback was that remote working created an employee and client engagement challenge. The great news was that these were the problems we had always solved, we just needed to find a new way to do it in a virtual world. We went about designing a range of virtual experiences that included a number of key components, such as a deep understanding of the engagement goals, a physical event or conference pack, and live moderation from an expert in the area of the chosen experience. 

Stride was born, with a vision to reimagine engagement.

SO, WHERE TO NEXT?

We passionately believe in the power of virtual, experiential engagement. However, we also know that our customers will require both in-person and hybrid events and conferences as we move forward in a post-pandemic world. We are confident in our proven track record of delivering meaningful engagement to our clients in all three of these environments and are excited about everything that is to come.
